Copyediting
​You've finished a draft, so what's next? Make sure your words are coherent and error-free. Copyeditors review spelling, grammar, continuity, fact-checking, hyphenation, font styles, and sentence mechanics. I'll also ensure adherence to AP Style or Chicago Manual of Style, 17th Edition and will create a style sheet for your project.​

My pricing structure aligns with the Editorial Freelancers Association's published rates. The final price will depend on the complexity of the project and the expected turnaround time.
Proofreading
​You're so close to being finished with your work. Now what? You need one more set of eyes on those words. Proofreaders look for incorrect punctuation, spelling, grammar, capitalization, factual errors, and formatting (such as end-of-line breaks, page numbers, and visual elements).

Indie Authors
You did it! You wrote a book. Or maybe you're still writing it (does it ever end?).

I copyedit and proofread manuscripts for indie authors. We'll start with a sample edit. This gives me an idea of your writing style and will help me determine how long it'll take me to edit or proofread for you. This gives you an opportunity to see how we might work together to make sure we're a good fit. If either party doesn't think we're a good fit I'd be happy to introduce you to an editor who can help you.
